“When we first got there, they wanted to put us into a property down the beach a little bit. It was more private but away from the restaurant and the beach. They were accommodating to us switching and we ended up at main building. The beach was fantastic, the grounds were awesome and the rooms delightful. The porch overlooking the courtyard and pool was great, especially with the hammock. No a/c but the room was comfortable with a ceiling fan and a breeze off the ocean. We hope to be back!”

“The breakfast is so good, take advantage of it. Bottle Water is expensive all over the area so I understand not getting constant free water. Take the water pitcher from your room down to the restaurant or bar and they will fill it for you with filtered water.”

“Excellent staff, very helpful and nice, hotel is overpriced, paid almost $100 for 4 drinks, no big deal but be careful, after 10 pm the whole thing is closed so they can't help you with anything that you would want, not a drink not anything. you would have to go to the nearest store. The room i was at was next to their kitchen or office or something and you could hear everything, their talking, their steps, very annoying, overall if you use the hotel just to sleep like i did its not bad at all.……

“The Good: Breakfast was great and included. The staff was great and helpful. Very beautiful & quiet property The Bad: Only a glass wall on the shower so water got all over the floor everytime we showered. Super small trashcans and I say this because it rained alot so they had breakfast brought to the room but nowhere to throw the containers away and they don't come back to get the waste. We had to walk through the lobby to access the trash at the front. Please replace the rugs placed……

The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect. The beach nearby was beautiful, peaceful, and great for relaxing. Everything about the experience felt special and authentic. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Caribbean side of Costa Rica!”

“The breakfast and staff were amazing. The people who worked there were super helpful, kind and thoughtful. The glamping was a once in a lifetime experience with all the night time sounds and showering outside in the jungle at night. The fireflies were magical and there were tucans just hanging out in the trees outside our place. We did not have a lot of insects inside but they do get in through small holes in the glamping tent and the screen door had holes and was broken when we arrived. They……

“The grounds are expansive and absolutely beautiful. We saw monkeys, giant green macaws and toucans on the property. The location - between Playa Cocles and Playa Chiquita - is perfect. Both restaurants on the property were great - we especially loved the cocktails and ceviche at Spice House. We stayed in a two-story family villa. There was plenty of room for 3 teenaged boys and 2 adults. The bedrooms were air-conditioned and the downstairs was cool and comfortable with just the windows and……

“Los dueños son excelentes personas, amables, cordiales, serviciales, te dan muchísimas facilidades, tal vez ni problema fue que esperaba un hotel con más lujo y no es así. A mí consideración fue como un hostal pero con habitación privada. Las condiciones del inmueble son deterioradas. Su áreas de oportunidad están en las habitaciones, no en su atención porque su atención siempre fue gentil y resolutivo.”
